Generalized Anxiety Disorder

GAD is a diffuse sense of unrest, free-floating anxiety in which the person is worried about some aspect of life at all times. It interferes with sleep and can result in associated physical complaints such as tension headaches, chest pain, etc.

Can also result in bouts of depression, correct?

Reactive depression when the individual feels helpless to manage the anxiety. Importantly, some of the antidepressants are approved for the management of generalized anxiety disorder.
