We have been married 5 years and have not been able to acheive consistent penetration during sex. I (the male) am disabled and I am unable to get into position to have missionary style sex. I have tried using ED medicine and even when my penis is fully erect we cannot achieve penetration. We have spoken to a doctor once about this and the only suggestion he gave was the ED medicine. My wife is able to penetrate herself with toys and I can penetrate her with my fingers, but when I try to penetrate her with my penis it will not go in. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.

Are you indicating that your physician has told you that the problem is psychological or psychophysiological. From your post, you present it as entirely physical in nature.

The physician indicated the the problem was I was not achieving a strong enough erection because of spina bifida. I have no feeling in my penis, but we still have this problem even when I am fully erect.

He indicated the the problem was I did not have a strong enough erection to penetrate due to the fact that I have no feeling in my penis. Even when I take the ED meds and have a full erection we cannot achieve penetration though.

Thank you for clarifying. His diagnosis is that the problem is entirely physical. This is a psychological forum, and I do not see how we can be of assistance to you.
