desperate for help

we are desperate to find someone to help my brother. he lives with me, he is a quadraplegic 38 yr. old man. he has been in a catatonic state for weeks, what can i do? i miss him so much,and take care of his other needs, but i just can't break thru the steel wall, he uses no facial expression, he stopped eating. i feel like crying all the time. i do not know if he sees me or hears me,but he seem to hear all these other voices. please help, we've been to all the best psychiatrists in chicago, even dr. givaria,but nothing helps thank you

If you have consulted the best available in your area, there truly may be nothing more that you can do. There are medical schools in your area, and I am assuming that you have contacted their neurology departments and asked for recommendations.
