I do not know if readers will take time to read your attachment. You may wish to condense it (quite a bit) and insert it as a reply to your own thread.
From what I read, it appears that you are currently in care, have great concerns about the care you are receiving...in which case, some would seek a second opinion.
However, since your doubts and concerns may, in fact, be part of your symptoms, you may wish to give yourself time for the medication to effectively work.
I am getting care from my Doctor but feel maybe the medications are not right. Hence the reason for my wanting to get another opinion. Dr. Adams can you let me know how much time should someone give for medications like Lithium,Seroquel,Respiridone and Effexor XR to effectively work ?
You know enough about these psychoactive medications to realize that they are prescribed to help an individual organize his thoughts and begin to dismiss false beliefs.
You also know that such medications, because I believe you have checked this out on your own, may take regulation, adjustment, and an extended period before symptoms subside.
You would be best served by following the treatment plan proposed for a reasonable number of months to determine if there are any changes in your symptoms.
